Video DJ and Karaoke Setup at a Wedding Engagement Party

 I had the exciting opportunity to DJ a Wedding Engagement Party, also known as a "Jack and Jill." This was my first time using a combined setup that included a projector, screen, TV, and my standard DJ equipment, all tailored to the couple's request for karaoke.

The venue came alive with my vibrant UV and RGB lighting, setting the perfect mood. I set up two speakers on stands, a projector casting visuals onto a large screen, and a TV for lyrics display. The DJ table housed my mixer and laptop, ready to spin tracks and manage the karaoke queue.

In between karaoke sessions, I showcased my Xtendamix music video collection, adding dynamic visuals to songs without videos, keeping the energy high and the dance floor moving. It was a learning curve, but the setup worked seamlessly, making the night memorable for everyone.

Unveiling "Empty Box" – A Hidden Gem from 2019

 I’m thrilled to share a special release with you: the previously unreleased track "Empty Box," a collaboration with the talented Michael Ploughman and Trevor LeBlanc, known collectively as King and Oakes. This track, clocking in at 3 minutes and 28 seconds, is now available for you to experience, and I’m excited to finally bring it into the light.

Back in late 2019 and early 2020, I had the privilege of working with Michael and Trevor on a series of tracks. Among them was "Empty Box," a song written and performed by Michael Ploughman. I took on the roles of recording and producing this track, pouring my heart into crafting its sound. To ensure it shone brightly, I enlisted Mike Oz at studioZproductions for mastering. Despite our efforts, "Empty Box" remained unreleased—until now.

This track is a raw, emotive piece that captures Michael’s unique artistry, complemented by the collaborative energy of our trio.
