The Trident 🔱 Trilogy: A Journey from Heartbreak to Healing
In March 2017, I closed a chapter of my life as the bar and club performer known as DJ Jason Brain, releasing my final three commercial dance music DJ mixes: The Trident 🔱 Trilogy. These mixes were born from a broken heart after a transformative trip to Cuba, marking the end of my journey in commercial music and the beginning of a new path as ΙΑΣΩΝ, creating underground remixes, Psytrance, and techno that resonate with my soul. From this point forward, I reserved the Jason Brain name for my "Waybacks" mixes with DJ Klutch and continued to DJ weddings—because love still calls me to celebrate with others.
The Trident 🔱 Trilogy tells a story of love, loss, and self-discovery, channeled through music from the universe to you, through me. The final mix in the trilogy, and my last solo work as DJ Jason Brain, is a farewell to commercial mixtapes. The first half overflows with love and lyrical expression, while the second turns inward, embracing the wordless Psytrance and techno that have always called to me. This mix is about finding love within yourself, moving from outward emotion to inner peace.
